About me

I’m a Senior Software Engineer based in Pakistan. I’ve designed distributed backends, led teams of up to five engineers, and handled delivery from architecture through AWS deployment.

I also work with React and Next.js to deliver features across the stack, build personal projects, and write technical articles.

      Mar 2026 – Present

      Full-time

      • Built AIME Assist, an AI app builder using foundation models and the Vercel AI SDK, enabling approximately 1,200 projects. Approximately 20 engineers use Assist and AIME Platform daily, alongside product management and senior leadership.
      • Helped reduce monthly AI costs approximately 75%, from £10,000 to £2,500, through prompt optimization, context and token management, and caching.
      • Introduced feedback collection across 100+ apps through a reusable npm package and integrated AIME Assist through MCP for code changes, GitHub updates and deployments. The workflow has been used to resolve 500+ feedback items.

    2. Software Engineer

      Dec 2022 – Feb 2026

      Full-time

      • Led five engineers and designed and built AIME Platform’s six-service microservices architecture, incorporating an API gateway and Redis caching.
      • Led three engineers to build analytics across millions of chat records, using PostgreSQL, queued ingestion and semantic scoring to power reporting dashboards.
      • Reduced AWS infrastructure costs by consolidating 70+ Elastic Beanstalk development apps onto a shared Application Load Balancer.
      • Led development of a mobile app for buying and renting children’s items. The app launched on Google Play, reached 1,000+ downloads and generated several thousand pounds in revenue.
      • Contributed to AIME DevOps Cloud’s CI/CD and ECS/ECR deployment capabilities, supporting 100+ full stack app deployments.
      • Built a real-time visual workspace with Fabric.js and Yjs, enabling 10+ users to edit simultaneously.

      Full-time

      • Developed an early years EdTech startup’s core product using React, Node.js and GraphQL. The company later raised £450K.
      • Automated deployments across 20+ repositories using GitHub and Heroku CI/CD pipelines.
      • Created reusable REST and GraphQL backend templates with JWT authentication and role-based access control, helping 5+ clients prototype applications faster.
